The Young Homeless North East Annual Homeless Survey

The Young Homeless North East Annual Homeless Survey

The Northeast Homeless Youth is conducting its eighth annual survey on homelessness and is asking everyone involved to participate. The survey aims to collect data to provide evidence on the extent and causes of youth homelessness, nuances and emerging trends, and gaps in service delivery. The survey report will attempt to establish the current social, political and economic context and understand its impact on homeless youth in the region. Putas

As always, there are two surveys, one for local authorities and one for volunteer and community sector partners, housing associations and ALMO. The results of the research will be analyzed and Northumbria University will produce a report covering trends, gaps and recommendations.

The report will be presented at a seminar in the fall. More details will be distributed closer to time. The report will also be widely circulated and available for download from the YHNE website.

As in previous years, February and previous year data are requested in the survey to ensure comparative data generation. Please click the appropriate link below to complete the survey. The links will take you to the survey and walk you through the process.

When completing the survey, do not forget to press Submit to save the completed survey, and remember not to press the Submit button until you have completed the survey. To ensure data consistency, you can guarantee a single contributor for Petardas data from your local authority.

Please find links to the surveys and PDF files below so you can review the questions before completing the surveys. Surveys also have a ‘finish later’ option.
